Planning and Strategy in OpenRA Matches

I’m new to this forum and really enjoying OpenRA so far. I like how the game brings back classic RTS feeling, where planning, timing, and resource management really matter. Every small decision can change the outcome of a match. What I enjoy most is thinking ahead base layout, unit production, and map control. It feels very strategic and rewarding, especially in longer games where patience is important. In my daily work, I also deal with planning and calculations, like preparing paint estimates, so I naturally enjoy games that require structured thinking and attention to detail. Different context, but similar mindset. Happy to join the community and learn more strategies from experienced players here.
