Hi,
I've updated french tooltips translation (by now ) and i've a few questions :
- how to launch openra with a target language ? ^^
- yaml files doesn't use a valide format : yaml format does not allow tabs et use of ":" must be quoted (example: subitem1: "Reason: Why?"), but OpenRA doesn't seems to like this standard. It's a bit tricky when you want to use yaml tools...
- any accentuated characters / utf-8 support ?

I am working over the holidays to make this more user-friendly and less hacky. Currently you have to edit mod.yaml by hand. And yes you might need to modify any syntax highlighting tools because OpenRA uses a custom YAML style. I use http://kate-editor.org/ which does not adhere to a such strict syntax (or had a button to change this, I forgot) and stresses the TABs (which are important). I don't know the limits of http://www.freetype.org/ but as you can see UTF-8 and accentuated characters work out-of-the-box. I think you could even translate OpenRA to chinese.rhk wrote: ↑Hi,

Slovak Language
How About C&C In Slovak Language
I rebased onto latest bleed and changed something to the current translation framework. You may need to pull again from https://github.com/Mailaender/OpenRA/tree/localisation I also updated the documentation on https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/wiki/Translation
Thank you !Cmd. Matt wrote: ↑I rebased onto latest bleed and changed something to the current translation framework. You may need to pull again from https://github.com/Mailaender/OpenRA/tree/localisation I also updated the documentation on https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/wiki/Translation
I've updated and completed french translation (full with accentuated characters, but not chinese ones ). I'll send you a pull request on github.
Yamls under mods/ra/chrome/fr contain some "Id" values wich are not in other languages. I don't know if they are important but I can remove if unneeded.
Finally, i've find out Meld, an amazing diff tool and avoid yaml problems.
I'm starting to work on cnc too...
They are redundant now to the string behind the @ so Chris removed them in newer versions.rhk wrote: ↑Yamls under mods/ra/chrome/fr contain some "Id" values wich are not in other languages. I don't know if they are important but I can remove if unneeded.
