Am I right in thinking that I don't need port forwarding setup in the router to play on the LAN? Would it also be correct that port forwarding on the router would not affect games played on the LAN?

server crashes on startup (sometimes)
so............ I'm feeling ultra noob right now. heh :\
As soon as I start the game, I would say about half the time, it instantly crashes.
Someone suggested everyone tick ready instead of clicking "start game." So I've been playing around with that, but am in search of a more solid solution ...
