I was wondering what playing a classic RTS like RedAlert on the V would be like, especially with the stylus, and it’s quite an interesting experience.
The stylus works surprisingly well, including using its right click button. You still need the keyboard attached to play properly as you need the modifier keys at least such as shift.
The only issue I really have is that it’s difficult to scroll as I don’t have access to a middle mouse button that I’m aware of. I should perhaps look into rebinding the stylus’s eraser button to a middle mouse button when OpenRA is active.
Still likely won’t match a good mouse and keyboard though.
CPU usage sits around 30% and GPU usage around 50%. This is base usage as the scenario was far from demanding.
OpenRA with Eve V and Pen
Awesome. Have a look at https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/7154 for a stale discussion on how to improve the UI for touch input.

Thanks.
The stylus takes me 90% of the way there and I enabled right click scrolling, so I can touch and hold with my finger and scroll, though for some reason the right click on the stylus is not recognized.
If I am in full tablet mode, however, with no keyboard, then that's another story and new UI is needed, but I don't feel the desire to do that.
