Hello, introduction and asking

Hi, I am Krizzirk. I have played quite a bunch of RTS as of today. Now I want to make an RTS something similiar to Battle Realms or Warcraft III.

Let's not focus about how harsh trudging would it require, say if I willing to wade through anything, could you show me the roadmap?

If you're serious about building an RTS similar to Battle Realms or Warcraft III, I'd suggest starting with the fundamentals first: game engine, pathfinding, unit control, resource systems, and AI. Once you have a small playable prototype, you can gradually add more advanced features like factions, abilities, multiplayer, and campaign content Bitlife

It's definitely a long journey, but very achievable if you break it down into manageable milestones. What game engine are you planning to use?
