Feature Request - New Release (Build Indicator light)

On the UI bar, once a build is completed in turns yellow. Is there any possibility to add an orange or blue indicator light as well when a build is in progress? Bonus points if the light would progress across the button as the build is being completed.

This would be hugely helpful for noobs like myself.

That wouldn't work with multiqueue (Tiberian Dawn as well as some other third party mods use multiqueue)

This has been discussed already and there is a tracking issue: https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/17442
The remasters have a similar feature.

I have 1 suggestion about the game - there will be nice to have units counter somewhere on the interface.
For example: haversters: ..., intantry: ..., vehicles: ....
I've always missed that stats in the C&C games.

A selection palette can fulfil that role. It existed in the third generation of CNC games and has been discussed for OpenRA (see https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/16687).
