So I'm kinda addicted to Paradox games, started with Stellaris, went to CKII and now on EU IV. I would like to play something in the modern day settings dedicated on wars.

I see that HoI 4 might do it, but the restricted timeline reduce the "grand strategy" aspect of it a little for me. Is there a mod or something for it that extend the timeline and add research and units up to 2017+ ?

Or maybe there is some other game (not from Paradox) that could do the tricks for me.
