Map pool will be finalized by October 7th 23:59 UTC+0.
RAGL participants are encouraged to suggest 2 more maps below to include in the pool to make it 12 in total. Any 1v1 maps might be considered, though we reserve the right to deny the application on reasonable grounds. Feel free to add the explanation on why do you think the map should be included in the pool.
Map pool looks fairly varied. Nice that Badger Hills made a revisit and wasn't deemed too linear. Shadow Fiend coming back is a nice replacement of Pitfight filling the gap of a classic long played map. Haven't any recommendations myself atm, and lightly not to with my current work load sadly. Though i'm sure there's some old maps that could probably make the list.

Thanks, one of the goals was to provide different kinds of maps, both in size and economy richness, so that players still have a possibility of finding a "home" map for their liking.
There was a small hesitation between Badger Hills and Borrowed Time in attempt to have a 0-oil map in, the former was chosen as a fresher and more active solution.
One more tendency on map selection showed up in that there are more eco-rich maps in the mix. We might probably have some maps on the high threshold of low eco/high eco scale here, with both Forgotten Plains and Map J (that will be renamed I think ) having 18 mines.
I think some of those definitely need a rename, as if they take off then it'll be more rememberable. Not to float my own boat, and imo Borrowed Time is a top map, Badger Hills fills that tech incentive type map i think. It's also good that we have 2 19x mine maps as they dont follow the typical style and seem to be favoured which is a good move forward for the game. Not to forget, but having 2 small maps be proven to play well and not just become base pushey is a good thing also.
We have 2 small maps, sanitsa and snakes and ladders. We wanted to give some variety with the maps, and offer different views, which is why maps like beyond destruction are in there as well.
I think Arcane Woods II is a good option for the Map pool. It's probably the best N/a map I have ever played and is with more then 150 played matches popular
