Hello FiveAces. Here is a match I think you would like to cast, only 10 minutes though. It's a micro-heavy Soviets vs. Allies game on Warwind, and the players are both Australians: one I'm pretty sure is an amhol smurf, the other an enigmatic mystery man...
Good stuff, the more the merrier! I've been a bit inactive over the course of my holidays,
but school has started again and it's time to fire up the casting forge once more.
SoScared has provided me with another Match Of The Month video,
this time showcasing the playoffs between Gatekeeper and Barf!
The matches were played in a BO5, so I had to split them up into 2 parts for the sake of viewability;
part one is going live right now:
I vouch for this game. As boring as certain aspects the map seems at times, it’s interesting that it still allows for comebacks, hence long games which many (pros) aren’t a fan of, but it doesn’t snowball which is a plus.
*map removed as mandatory pick for the UOE finals* Can affort each game taking this long... close to a MILLION spent resources? About 4000 deaths per side? seriousely?... tbh, if one player refuses to use navy, then OF COURSE there will be bad trades and less opportunities for that player on a mixed map.

That's fair enough, as a general rule of thumb, this map lasts 1.5x other competitive maps, where if most finish in 15-20 mins this would be 22-30 mins long. It's just the back and fore games with really good players being highlighted such as Hi vs FrameLimiter and this when it's a shell map battle style.
Oh god, I had a look at the replay file and the sheer file size indicates this might be a 200% speed cast
I don't usually release Match Of The Month videos back to back,
but the amazing BO5 between Barf and Gatekeeper deserves a conclusion instead of a cliffhanger.
So here we go:
In other news, I've finally found the time to set up another stream.
For those interested, I'll go live on TUE , Jan 23rd, 7pm UTC. From now on, there's hopefully going to be a stream every single Tuesday!
Cheers and hoping to see some familiar faces on stream!
I've watched and enjoyed and liked every single one of your casts so far. You are doing a great job casting. You also did a great job in promoting openra so far.
However I'm really disappointed about your applause for soscared. Soscared is not the savior of openra. He left the community in a rage quit. His so called mod doesn't deserve to be mentioned here. All other mods try to add something to the community and to the game in a positive way. He just wants to rip things out. And he wants to rip apart the community. Imho his attitude harms openra: "Don't follow the main project, follow me!" the savior spake.
