Is there like a fund for this game? I'm not opposed to throwing in a few bucks from time to time so that the dev guys can have the finest caffeinated products at their disposal.

A question to developers: is there another way besides bounties to fund this game?

Ive had a little raise (+E200/month, yaaaay) and I'd like to donate E50. It aint much, and I dont know for what bounty or how I place money on a bounty. Isnt there a bankaccount that is held by a reliable person in regard to OpenRa?

https://github.com/ihptru manages our servers. If I understand correctly, the last service outage was caused by unpaid bills. Talk to him in IRC. See http://www.openra.net/community/ on how to get there.

1) I buy a server through a hosting company and pass along the details to an admin

I've sent you two both a Personal Message with the email of Glenn. He codes for OpenRa and pays for servers, which is about E40,- per month. Not sure which servers he has running. Perhaps also try to contact Geert Johan? He has several servers running as well.

Maybe there will come a ticker for (server) donations.

Also if you want specific things to be coded you can set up bounties.

I would suggest contributing a bounty to a small, specific feature you'd like to see. Large features and very general features are difficult to implement, and may not be seen for a long while.

For example, donate to an issue about there being no Jumppack infantry in TS. Do not pay for the general "Ra2/TS" ticket, as it will not be fixed in the order that you might like, and it is much more difficult for the devs to distribute the money that way.
