Hey,
If I recall when I used to play C&C as a kid, I had a CD full of like mods or expansions (I'm not sure if it was official content).
The maps or addons gave you access to more buildings and units etc.
Will any of this be added to the OpenRA mod?

This has been possible for a long time. OpenRA is built for modding.

not those particular mods perhaps, but Tiberium Origins and The Forgotten chapter in the modding section are prime examples of exactly that.
