Why not to create a AI tournaments, where everyone can participate by submitting own AI-bot and then these bots will fight and best one wins. Lets say we have this kind of tournament once per week, then every week we would have better AI-bots as participators try to make their AI-logic better to win next round.

Universities actually do this (for Starcraft): http://eis.ucsc.edu/StarCraftAICompetition
And not just universities; 2K Games sponsored a competition to make an UT2004 bot capable of passing the Turing test.
In that case you could make 2vs2 tournament games with generic nicknames and no chat allowed. The participants than have to guess afterwards which players were bots.-Jes- wrote: And not just universities; 2K Games sponsored a competition to make an UT2004 bot capable of passing the Turing test.
