Hello everyone! Very soon, on July 1, the OpenRA tournament will begin, with prizes. But first things first.

Tournament start date: July 1, 2024

Format: Double-elimination tournament. You will leave the tournament if you lose twice

Prizes: Initially, the announcement of the tournament was on my Telegram channel and previously there were Telegram premium in the form of prizes. But I was offered to reward the winners of the tournament with money in a Steam wallet.
3rd place - 10$
2nd place - 20$
1st place - 30$

If you don’t need a prize and are playing for fun, then you can always give your prize to a friend!

Tournament details:

The tournament will start on July 1st. Its start will be announced separately!
If 8 players are registered for the tournament, the tournament will be held in a double elimination format as in this picture.
If from 9 to 15 players are registered for the tournament, it will begin with a qualifying round, where players will be divided into several groups and first play within them.
If 16 players are registered for the tournament, the tournament will be held in a double elimination format as in this picture.
Similarly, if there are 17 or more players, then the tournament will first begin with the qualifying round. It would be interesting, but...

Players are distributed randomly in the table. If you lose the game, you go to the lower bracket. If you lose again, you are eliminated from the tournament. Standard 1 vs 1 cards that are available in OpenRA will be used. One week is allocated for each tour. When registering for the tournament, the player must choose the side for which he will play throughout the tournament!

When the start of the round is announced, the players agree among themselves at what time it would be more convenient for them to play the game. Players tell me the date and time, I go to the tournament server in advance, create a game with the necessary parameters and select a map. I will be an observer. I have a lot of free time, so this shouldn't be a problem. But if I can’t be present at the game, then need to choose another time.
