Weekly Highlights
As in previous seasons I'll try to summarise some of the week's action with a weekly highlight post. So far this season milkman has managed to cast almost every game and so there's a lot of footage to watch if you want.
Week 1
Master's Match of the Week
Only one of the twelve Masters matches scheduled for this week was played. Six players delayed their matches and so hopefully we'll see more action next week. In contrast Fazzz played two of his matches early, and both are in my list. The first features one of the new players this season, inno, who made a last minute charge on the ladder to gain a place in Masters. Currently Fazzz and inno are the top two players on the official RA ladder.

Best of the Rest
The lack of games from Masters was offset by a plethora in Minions. There were more than five times as many matches in Minions than Masters, something not seen since Season 10 (when there was only one Masters game in the first three weeks).
Another new player this season is Greg. His obvious knowledge of the game combined with no one having seen him play before has led to a lot of accusations of smurfing, but regardless this match against Hans was action packed. Hans pointed out that he's not played RA in the last year, and so was confused several times by features of Combined Arms which are different in RA.

milkman is one of the four players to have already completed half a season. This was a Week 2 match played a day early. It's always hard to rate your own games but I think it was pretty entertaining.

Honourable Mentions
With no Kav this season then there it's not clear who the overall favourite is, and there have been differing predictions of who will be in the playoffs. These two players ended in third and fourth last season but never played their bronze match.

The final new player this season is sliceoflife (there's also Sudothinker but I'm predicting they won't play a game). slice has been working through the Academy material and was bold enough to jump right in to RAGL. goldie finished in the bottom half of Minions last season and was one of the first to register this time around.
