How to re-add Fragile Diplomacy?

My brother and I don't always play competitively, and we'll screw around a lot. Central to this is the ability to use fragile diplomacy: to do stuff like attack armies against each other and work together later.

Where and how can I add Fragile Diplomacy as a mod for multiplayer for us?

Fragile alliance was completely removed from the code. By restoring, you have to checkout the complete source code, and revert the commit which removed it for a start. Unfortunately, a new lobby checkbox system was introduced since it's removal, which means the code probably need to be rewritten even.
