Do not leave while someone is dropping &more

Post by zypres »

Hi,

not all players know this.
If anyone have connection issues, and it says: "being dropped in xx sec", then DO NOT LEAVE.
If you leave, even as spectator, the game stalls when drop is done.

Not everyone knows this, and the text should print "will be dropped in 40 sec, do not leave"

You should have made a bigger fuss on github. It was relatively easy to track down and fix this bug. If someone had brought this back to my attention earlier it could have been fixed months ago...

Well, devs have enough to do, but thank you for looking at it, and the quick fix.
This have been annoying for many users and great games, so not sure why it went "under the radar"..

Other users should have a look at bug reports and vote/comment/bounty the issues they feel should be focused on. (search for it, no need to make duplicates)

For those who want to see more, and learn about the process with this bug report:

To change the subject a little, should the time limit be shortened before the auto-kick? I suspect that if someone's internet is going to recover then it will likely happen in the earlier period. Waiting that last 30 seconds always seems pointless in my experience because they aren't coming back.
