Ive just created a new strategy forum post over on GameReplays.org which will allow the community to share and discuss build order which can be helpful to newbies and not-so-newbies alike!

lol :P that wasn't what i was planning but makes sense nonetheless, feel free to wait until after the tourney.

it depends on the map. bigger wider maps require to expand pretty fast.

I like rushing Fire Archers and then transitioning into a Guided Democracy build.
Make sure to research the Advanced Surveillance State upgrade in time!
My lategame plan is usually Bishop B2 - D3. Checkmate in 3.




In all seriousness though, my build is 100% map-dependent, but generally you want a 2 ref start on maps with double ore patches, otherwise go wf first.

In every map i usally deploy my mcv first then build a ref > 3 barricks ( I play as soviets) and about 4-5 power plants to power barricks and then about 1000 or so infantry.

My regular TD builds:

Double ref + heli late baracks opening (my favorite)
1. power plant
2. tib refinery
3. weapons factory
4. power plant
5. tib refinery
6. communications center
7. helipad
8. advanced power plant
9. barracks

Spam two harvesters in between and then go heli + heavy ground support.

Norman-like opening (good for confusing the opponent)
1. power plant
2. tib refinery
3. weapons factory
4. power plant
5. communications center
6. tib refinery
7. advanced power plant
8. weapons factory

Spam tanks and harvesters.

I'm scared of my opponent opening (nice for defensive games)
1. power plant
2. barracks
3. tib refinery
4. power plant
5. weapons factory
6. communications center
7. advanced power plant
8. tib refinery

Build a few defensive structures in between.
