Couple of questions:
Can spectators slow down the game?
Is there any way to block spectators, (other than kicking them all) or block them from speaking? (They can provide information that can distort the game.)
spectators
1. yes they can slow down the game
2. Theres is currently "no way" to block em without kick
3. and no way to mute em ... you still have to hear that annoying chat-beepsound , and you have to get confused by the chit-chat they do
+1 for fixing this , please

Yes, they also run the whole simulation so they can cause lag or desync the game as any other player. See https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/3367 It was not that urgent before, because OpenRA had almost no players just a week ago.
