Slowing Down

Anyone know of ways to stop the game slowing down, when playing with more than 6 players?
Are there resolution setting that can be adjusted or any other ingame settings that can help speed up the graphics of the game?

I think disabling the FPS limiter and having more RAM will help

Sadly there isn't all too much you can do when another player is causing slowdown. The game basically runs at the speed of the player with the weakest machine.
