Greetings ladies and gentlemen. My name is Hecthor Doomhammer and welcome to the second edition of the Hecthor Doomhammer Red Alert 1vs1 Tournament (tm).
Seeing as how last yearâ€™s tournament went in terms of organisation and execution, I am happy be hosting another edition of this kind of tournament.

Starting Saturday July 1st at 10:00 AM GMT / 12:00 PM GMT 16 of you will be waging a 2 weekend war to decide who take the honor, glory and the prize money on Sunday July 9th
Hosted and livestreamed from my channel on Twitch and joined by SoScared, FiveAces and Jazz_KCS as tournament officials. All matches will be streamed live and later edited and uploaded to my Youtube channel.

In this topic on Sleipnir's Forum you can see all the information necessary as well as sign up if you wish to have a shot at the prize pool, currently sitting at a solid â‚¬160.

It does not complicate your tournament at all... It makes it way more interesting with 0 extra effort. Also increases the stakes and will motivate aspiring new players.

Just allow everyone to sign up. If a Master ends up winning no ticket is given (only money), if a non-Master wins you give a ticket and money. It's that simple... And it will make the tournament way more interesting.

Oh wait I thought you added the seed info on the forum as in this workshop thread example.

Just to be clear, all the work and complications regarding the Masters' seed would be 100% on my end. It's basically just another prize addition, like a donation except you wouldn't have to do nothing about it post-tournament.

I don't want to say what you should or should not do but I'm honestly a bit dismayed as it's a win-win proposition both for the tournament and the league.

Het is inderdaad als een donatie, maar dan zelfs zonder het gedoe van geld overmaken, want Soscared regelt alles.

Straks is het 10-jarige feestje van OpenRA en jouw toernooi samen met de kans om Master League te gaan spelen zal bij veel nieuwe spelers interesse opwekken, om mee te doen maar ook om de stream te kijken. En de Master League ticket is dan wat het extra spannend maakt. De winnaar zou m ook echt verdienen aangezien Lorrydriver meedoet.

Kan me voorstellen dat nieuw werk veel kopzorgen oplevert.. Maar je kunt nog prima de Master League seed toevoegen, net als dat je ook nog geld als donatie accepteert. Het maakt je toernooi alleen maar leuker

We will keep quiet about this whole Masters Seed thing untl the Bronze Match. on the day of the Bronze Match and Finals, I'm ok with SoScared giving away the Master's League seed then. Just don't mention anything about it any sooner than the day of the Finals / Bronze Match!

And personally I wouldn't keep it a secret, it's cool marketing for the tournament and stream. People will be excited to see if the ticket is going to be won! (And if they don't know in advance they may not watch)

Anyhow, it's gonna be cool and I'll transfer the Euro's this week.

No that's not how I work. When it comes to supporting or getting involved with projects I expect no less than being able to have a good discourse with whomever is involved. Tbh this constant finality attitude is less than encouraging.

Btw I read the Discord logs and forum post that my participation as co-host is de facto happening. As I mentioned early on in this thread my first summer vacation week and there's a high probability I'll be off to somewhere that week. Just don't want it to seem like I'm backing out if I'm not participating.
