If I got it right, it's recommend to use the EA RA disc images if we want to have the "complete Red Alert experience". I've downloaded the Red Alert isos from cncnz.com and would use them with the OpenRA automatic installation, if this is correct? How about the two add-ons / expansion packs Counters...
