everytime i try to get on the IRC channel i get irc.freenode.net: Terminated.???

you have to go to the webpage of your router, usually 192.168.0.1 or something along those lines. Then find port forwarding, usually under NAT/Qos and enable forwarding for port 1234.

Every time I try to host a game open RA crashes. It always seems to crash within a few seconds of someone joining my game.
