I think it's time to properly decide what to do with the remainder of the TTT2016.

Because I work during the evening (16:00 - 22:00 GMT, and home around 23:00 GMT) I won't be able to join in any voice chats regarding this.

FiveAces and SoScared said it'd be possible to do the remainder of the matches of 8 on Friday March 11th.

I myself don't have to work on Fridays, so I am available then too and willing to get stuff done.

But looking at the first 2 days, I say we need to be stricter in terms of no-shows.

My suggestions are as follows:

- The teams still needing to play the Rounds of 8 have to play on Friday at a time scheduled by us as officials / casters.

- Time slots should be made in accordance with the players, but ultimately, we have the final say.

- If 1 team member doesn't show up, and a replacement is not found within the hour, that team is out.

- Replacements are permanent, the original player from that team that didn't / couldn't show up is out.

- Connection issues, such as with Mustapha, will be given 15 minutes of fixing. if after 15 minutes the connection still bugs out, a replacement should be found, according to the aforementioned rule.

- Semifinals will be held on Saturday March 12 at set scheduled time slots

- Finals will be held on Sunday March 13 at a given time slot.

We also need to let the remaining teams know what's going to happen and it needs to be done plenty on time to make sure that the players will be present, or replaced.

As mentioned earlier, I'll not be able to join in on the TTT stream Friday evening. I'm prepped for Sat and Sun.

Doomhammer and FiveAces should use their greenscreens that day!

Looks like a solution would be a Friday Late night stream, like very late night:)

If the stream were to start ca. 23:00 UTC, then you'd have a slot to play Match 2 (see above) and have about 2 hours (01:00 UTC) until hamb would be available. Chrisf should be available then as well with his GMT+13 at 14:00 local time.

LOL gotta love that timezone combination.

NZ and Canada are very damn far apart in terms of timezones, so I wonder how they even agreed on the teamup. Probably the times when they would talk frequently to each other in IRC where in mind there when signing up...

Its only 4/5 hours (with the dateline in the middle). That's still better than US/EU!

chrisf and I have played in several tournaments together (we're 4h apart). Our games were on Saturdays, or the tournament wasn't set to a european afternoon timezone. I didn't think to ask when these games were being played since it has worked out in the past, but I understand why the times are european favored.

Other timeslots?
- I can stay up late on Friday, which gives an evening time for Chrisf and early morning for EU players.
- If we're allowed to also play on Saturday, which my guess is this is too late, there's probably a time when we are all online.

@Hamb: thanks for the info, really appreciate it! It's funny tho, European timezone taking the worst of both worlds when it comes to the NA East Coast + NZ LOL

Relay PM message from Gatekeeper:

"Regarding next weekends TTT there are some timeframes in which I can not play, nothing problematic, but work on friday and driving lessons on saturday. I have not yet seen any schedules on the forums, so I hope there is still room to work with.

On friday I can play from 17:00 (All times in Dutch & Norwegian timezone) until 21:00
On Saturday I am able to play from 16:00 until the end of times.
No issues on Sunday."

raymundo wrote:Hello SoScared,

Unfortunately I have been called in to work an event for my job this weekend. I will not be able to participate in the tag team tournament. Sorry for any inconvenience but it is something I have no control over. I imagine Amphy will still want to participate with a sit-in.

Regards,

Raymundo
PM sent this morning. I'm not at home (copypasta msg via phone) so I encourage you to confirm Amphy or any other replacement quick in order to maintain a smooth stream tonight.

Cheers, Soscared
