Ahoi,

to balance GPS: no army reveal, no auto-target, no dots.

Satellites gave photographs back then (time set of the game), so some things can hide and others don't. Suggestion how GPS should work differently instead:

1) GPS timer after launch restarts every 2 or 3 minutes, and every "flight across the battlefield" reveals:
2) every structure on the map as scouted, and FoW remains.
3) You get vision of, let's say, 4 or 5 cells around every position of units that can leave a husk (too big to camouflage) for a few secs.

I know, that changes the character of GPS a lot.

>>
The OP-problem of GPS is live information about enemy armies, planes, and blobs.
<<

So we can change GPS providing "surveillance pictures" of the battlefield evry or so minutes,
not destroying the concept of FoW (makes GPS OP).

Buff: you know all the buildings on the map, put to current state evry few minutes.
Nerf: no live information of armies: no inf revealed, no planes revealed.
Idea: soviet spy plane reveals area to chose, allied GPS reveales few cells around positions of every harvester, tank, mcv ... (husks)

Welcome opinions about the logic of this proposal.
Does this make coding easier?
Should camo-pillboxes stay hidden?
Shall GPS-timer be still shown to all players?

I think the new kind of GPS is actually a nice achievement for this version of the game, so it would be kind of a loss if it had to go...
