xanax - Why not have two versions of OpenRA? One for Steam, and another for people that download directly from the site?

On this note, having proper support for broadcasting LAN games would go a long way towards making OpenRA playable at LAN parties (are these still a thing for modern kids?). We have a ticket for this at #8906, and somebody even did an implementation there that can be used as the basis of a final implementation.
