The third Crystallized Doom match in a Bo3 series between ZxGanon and DasDuelon
serves as a stage to showcase not only some impressive air-to-air combat,
but also a glimplse into the arsenal of the Forgotten!

Hi FiveAces,

Thought I would upload a couple of fun (for me, not sure I can same for Barf) games between me and Barf. First one is a back and forth England vs England game (no pillbox wars, i promise), and the second is a fun/trolly Ukraine vs Ukraine game with Demo Truck derby.

Hope you find them enjoyable!

Thanks OmNom, one of your matches has been scheduled for next week!

This weeks' shoutcast is dedicated to discussing the state of Allied base defenses
as we watch a heated battle unfold between two Global League titans.
Are they too cheap to produce? Feel free to debate!

As the temperature scale keeps dropping, we escape into the arid, tiberium-infested climate
zone of Crystallized Doom with a brutal 1v1 between Voidwalker and ZxGanon!

In other news, the RAGL academy series will continue shortly,
so stay tuned if you're interested in getting into competitive play!
(Not that most forum members aren't already fairly competitive to begin with 8) )

Replay of the game

Hi FiveAces,

Here it is replay of the game between me and the guy nicknamed elegantandrogyne from today.
That is 1v1 on the map called Singles. It took me about 34 minutes to win with lower score.

During this game I lost a lot of units and made some mistakes.

It wasn't played professionally (especially by me since I’m a beginner) but it was funny how the game turned out (see for yourself).

Try to speed up the game to see if that replay of the game is interesting.

Thanks Talon, going to have a look at it!

This week I was blessed with so many high-calibre submissions that I actually had a hard time choosing which game to cover first.
My pick of choice turned out to be an interesting case study on naval warfare in a really high-skill matchup between Medium Tank and Lorrydriver.

Hi FiveAces,
i'll take my leave from the soviet faction, since allies are not getting any nerfs which would matter (hinds got even better due to no-micro-required reloading).
This is a replay where weeman skillfully uses all allies advantages. In the previous game he basepushed me with pillboxes, hinds and arty. Playing soviet vs allies is very frustrating right now.

Ouch, yes ... allies are best on "Singles", as allied faction are good at "camping". Plus you had Ukraine, with is even harder to use than Russia ...

Soviets are fun to use ... but in RAGL I agree that I prefer to use Allies !

Thanks Cake! I've watched the replay witout knowing you had submitted it for casting,
but your approach to breaking his destroyer camp was not very well suited imo.
You should have targeted the naval yards with your subs, deterred them with IC+tesla coil
or (since you already had a tech center) MiGs.
Also, a single demo truck or parabomb calldown would have won you the game outright when you still had your army.
I can, however definitely relate to your gripes with pillboxes being so ubiquitous and liberally spammed everywhere
due to their ridiculously low cost.

Anyway, this week we turn the spotlights to a new challenger in a fiercely contested 1v1 on Sidestep between OmNom and Barf.

Cheers and stay tuned for the conclusion of the Global League next week!

It's not a high skill match-up, but this game definetely shows more and more players are capable of doing damage in 1 vs 1 games.

Interesting match on Dual Cold Front, with mistakes and nice plays on both ends, and it could go either way for a long time.

Thanks for the submission Wippie!

This week we are going to observe some hijacker hilarity, as AMHOL and Yellow are trying their hardest to outcheese each other. Featuring one of the most hilarious bugs I've encountered so far!

FiveAces, I got one for you, 3v3 on "tournament island" I thought I had won, and some how, ended up losing.

Tell me why?

Rather, any hints on how I can not lose next time?
