Two RAGL games that are both quite fun.

Win with mediocrity

Post by dootToot »

Do you like demo trucks? Do you like unconventional wins? Then this is the game for you! There is plenty to critique in this poorly played 2v2 battle on Mad Science.

Sorry for the absence, finals prep work was taking its toll.
But I've managed to maneuver this sinking ship that is my class
out of these dire straits and will be able to set my sights on some more OpenRA.

And while I was skimming gamereplays.org for some treasure,
my binoculars have indeed spied this little gem:

Lorrydriver versus Smitty, a brutal 1v1 on a playtest map that brings Snipers back into the game!

CHeers for the submissions, guys!
My backlog is still extensive, so it might take a while for your games to show up in my casts.

This week, we're focusing our sights on a match that was sent to me over a month ago and somehow managed to slip under the radar - I have no idea why, because it turned out to be a fantastic battle!

Lorrydriver versus OmNom:

You won't be disappointed by this game. Much soviet tech involved. Good 30 minute length with good early engagements and surprises.

Let's just say controlling a map that includes navy is another ball game.

What is the map for this replay?

Also, you wanted to send our replay on kazu's map, do you still want to do that? :)

Hey, this map is called "Portent". It was in the map competition but this was played on a revised portion that opened up the main portion of the map which was a bit choky.

Oh yes, I thought Kazu was eager about sending that replay. :) I can only advise on so many before I saturate the thread so I'm quite selective if I can be :).

Do you want to watch 40 minutes of Ukranian arms race? This game has everything what makes FiveAces happy: Ukranian postal delivery, MIGs and many more features.

Kazu said that this game needs to be casted, so you will not be disappointed. :)
Especially because it was played on the early prototype of his new map. If you cast this game, can you in the beginning make a review of this map and tell what you think about it?

Thanks for the submissions, will check them out ASAP!

A bit late to the party, but after the great success of Doomhammer's 1v1 tournament (check out part 2 this Saturday!) we're back to our regular schedule, and I'm about to kick off the "Hidden Path To Masters" qualifier playoffs between Happy and Juicebox!

Part one of this insane qualifier is here:

Enjoy!

And just like that, it's time for part 2 of Happy versus Juicebox!

Part 2 in an amazing BO5 battle for the Hidden Path To Masters!

Is Happy going to take a flawless victory or will Juicebox prove to be more resilient than expected?

Popping my head in here, to clarify, unless I'm mistaken there's still the 2nd leg qualifier left now between Juice box and Blackened :) I've seen some congratulary salutes around lately but it's not over yet!
