Just to clear this up, Be One was me, and I'm in the RAGL as Mint Spokesman (recruit). Lucian is another Australian player and we are friends IRL.

Knowing that Ozzy is a higher tier player than me, I sort of lost my cool the moment I realised I could possibly win and ummmm... yeah I accidently sold the MCV at my top right expansion.

I've never observed such a close basetrade in an OpenRA match before.

I have seen the replay before the cast, watched the cast and one question remains ... Why ? Why ? WHY ?

The game of Anjew was amazing considerate the reputation of Lorrydriver ;

So Master division this year is Lorry first and the battle to see who will be second

So Why (again) surrender in the middle of a battle when nothing is lost and the outcome is still uncertain ? Why when you still have a chance to take an official game versus the favorite of the league that people think can't be defeated, droping it like that ?

I'm sorry, it was one of the best ragl replay I've seen so far and it just ended brutally without a clear reason.

It's like watching the star wars saga and after the battle of Hoth witnessing the empire saying '"Yea we are tired about this rebels escaping things, transport and ion cannon are bullshit, we surrender, the end" WHERE IS THE REST OF THE SAGA !!!

Seriously, i'm sad right now.

I have to agree with WhoCares.

Maybe anjew thought Lorrydriver was more ahead than he actually was. That replay is a good example of never giving up too early - especially in an official match.

I would imagine anjew was tilted about RA mod features such as cheap MCVs.

He would have got my MCV and with a win in the north he would push through the bottom and I could not defend a top and bottom push.

Watching it from you POV paints it pretty clear exactly what went through your mind.

I was going to upload this replay to Game Replays (I uploaded a couple of others there), but they only accept release, not playtest. So here it is.

A fun battle on Alpha Juno V, in which the obelisk targeting bug manifests (~13:10) and a heroic buggy kills a mammoth (some seconds later).
