Hi again,

another replay here. It is much more standard, but still features me loosing lots of bases to damn infantry blobs.
I become scared and approach much more careful... a good thing?

Alright, time for another rendition of the Global League Academy series!

In week 3, I was pitted against Gatekeeper, and this episode is going to be centered around the importance of early scout unit preservation.

Cheers & hope you enjoy!

Alright folks, we're back on track!
A metric fuckton of work has temporarily kept me away from OpenRA,
but I'm reporting back with a good 1v1 between OzzyOuzo and Teew on Winter Storm,
featuring some great demolition work and the best Swag Truck I've seen in a while!

Seeing as the holidays have finally started,
you can expect my activity levels here to rise again.
See you on the battlefield!

A nice replay where we constantly battle over territory, the use of helis gives me a map control advantage.

Hi FiveAces,

So this was a rather interesting game between Hi and Gatekeeper which I spectated. Let's just say, expect navy on a land dominant map.

Thanks for your submissions, guys!
Hi versus Gatekeeper is already scheduled for release on Thursday, and it has been glorious!

But for now, I salute the recruits and bid you welcome to the fourth rendition of the Global League Academy.

This episode is going to be centered around teaching you the art of psychological warfare by applying constant pressure.
The other big subject we are going to tackle are timing pushes and powerspikes,
complete with a simple but solid build order.

Cheers!

'sup.

Decided it would be high time that I, too, shall deliver a replay of a game that I thought was good.

Tried to use some of the ideas that FiveAces spoke in his Global League Academy videos.

Tried

Thanks for the submission lynx, will check it out asap!

Seeing as I was on holidays last week, I still owe you a link to last weeks' cast:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijUfXh_aI24

, an amazing 1v1 between Gatekeeper and Hi that saw naval combat on a map that was definitely not played the way it had been intended. Now featuring 100% more chronotanks!

On a related note, episode number 5 of the Global League Academy is going live right now, and it is aimed at teaching the Global League recruits out there the importance of adapting your build and playstyle to the map choice.

Good luck and see you on the battlefield!

Forest path's lack of resources and chokepoints provide an unpredictable game

Heeey, when I designed the middle lakes into the map, I intended for it to be used exclusively by cruisers/nuke subs to take out the oils/defense (Hence the cliffs as a buffer zone to destroyers), I'm glad Hi was creative enough to be the only/first person who actually tried it out :P :D

But I hadn't designed for the second naval yard offensive move Hi did XD

A very chaotic battle in sidestep between me and chamberlain, which shows the importance of taking proper control of land.
