Do you have a favorite map? Vote in the poll HERE.

This thread will be used to post the entries for the Map Design Contest - You can send your maps untill June 30th 23:59 GMT.

I will add them to the openingpost in order of date of submission. If you want to know more about submissionrules, the jury and everthing else, check the opening thread for the contest.

On Categories: player may submit the map to two categories that are possible on the map. All maps are automatically assigned to the mod-category (so that doesn't count as a category)

Map Entry Format sum-up
- Send me a PM (see button below this post or use this link)
- Attach the .oramap file
- State the name of the map
- Assign the map to a maximum of two categories (see other thread)
- Upload a screenshot of the full map to Imgur and send the link
- If the .yaml is changed or a .lua file is added, state exactly what the changes do
- Make sure to replace your name with "Anonymous" when naming the map! Or else your name shows up when I upload it to the Resourcecenter.
I, or a volunteer, will upload the map to the resourcecenter. When the map competition is done I will delete all maps and the original creator may reupload it with his/her own name attached to it.

Entry #20: Tournament Revision

Modifications: Changes to the .yaml file:
The 2 neutral turrets as well as the neutral repair facility in the middle have had their power cost set to 0 to promote capture without power punishment. Additionally, the 2 turrets have been given the humvee/buggy machine gun(with a range increase to match the turret shell range) to help deal with infantry slightly better. (in the CNC KW version of this map the defensive structures could kill infantry better than TD turrets can, however in both they still can be quickly overwhelmed.)

Also, please note that the neutral repair facility doesn't provide a prerequisite for the MCV as to prevent a second MCV coming out too quickly.

Uhh, don't get me wrong, I really love Flooded Trenches, but it has allready been on the resource center since January (and not by an anonymous author) so I don't really think it should be eligable.

Edit: Just want to add that I do think Flooded Trenches should be added to the official map pool nonetheless, it's really really good. :)

Confirmed. Even had a couple of matches with this map on a previous stream. I know the author.

I just found this and i wanna join. I'll try to make a good map in left 10 days, but wanna ask something, would this be problem if i just copy-paste edited .yaml changes from my old maps? My other 2 map has some new tech buildings, new units etc and i wanna use same things in the map i'll send to this Contest too.

Hey Mustapha! That is allowed, you may copy paste any code from existing maps, as long as you make a new map for/out of it.

Low effort adaptations are not allowed. By that I mean: Adding weather to Vegetation (it is still Vegetation) or "I've added an extra wave to fort Lonestar" or "I've added some trees and houses to a map that I uploaded last year". It's a bit subjective, but Im confident that your plan will easily exceed this condition.

I'm done with the map. Is there an easy way to get full render of map or do i need to create it one-by-one by taking SSs?

CTRL-P. Then look for them where the maps are.

CTRL+P just takes SS, whatever i'm doing 0.5 zoomed out one if it is not problem. I need to merge about 6 SS like that.

Hmm Im not sure. If I remember correctly it should be possible to take a full screenshot ingame and it's then saved to a directory. If I recall correctly you can look in the settingsmenu for the correct button for this.

Other option is indeed to zoom out and take a screenshot or add several screenshots and make a big one out of it.

There is nothing about it in Input settings. Maybe it is an utility command not sure, but i already did 0.5 zommed out image.
