note: just a sketch
JOo, just to calrify, is the small black carrier and the other ships part of an image, or is this an actual screenshot of working units? I would need this smaller carrier unit for one of my maps - with aircraft landing, repair and rearming functionality. And the smaller ships look nice, too!

Any chance I could have them? Any download link availible?

The number on it should be 69.

Could already serve as a nice static map decoration.

Ok, tha was my last try. Microbit was right - it is hard to get the graphic style of RA right when using 3D modeling/rendering software.

ok, I have updated this naval unit a little bit.

Image

WHAT'S NEW
I made it 25% smaller and it now features 32 positions (32 frames).

TODO:
- Modify lights and shadows
- Add waves hitting the hull
- Team Colors are not yet implemented.
- Add turrets
- Add a heliport
- It would be cool to be able to create aircrafts or helicopters (to do this, maybe the player would have to stop the aircraft carrier first)

BUGS
PS: It doesn't work yet.

Here is the last exception.log error report I had: http://pastebin.com/8QiRJQiT
It happens after selecting the Naval Yard.

I NEED HELP
Here is where I have uploaded the ac.shp file :

Thanks for helping me.

Sounds like that crash is because you haven't defined the required 'icon' sequence for buildable units.

Just a test.
I made it a little bigger (temporary). I need space on its deck to carry at least two aircrafts and maybe let some space for a heliport or an elevator that could show newly created aircrafts.

Don't worry, I do plan to make it look like a real RA unit, one that matches the mod style.

Finally, I think the only parts of the unit that will be used for teamcolors are the boat cabin/tower control and the tank at the rear.

Here is a mockup image with turrets:

Is this project abandoned? I would really like to see this unit ingame.

The aircraft carrier unit is almost ready. The main problem is : there is no trait available in the game engine to make it work.
