Post by Blackened »

These are the maps currently into map pool. Please note this is subject to change up until the 6th of September. .1 and myself wanted to give the community a chance to vote in 2 more maps. We have selected 4 that we think are quality maps. The final map list is:
  • Keep Of The Grass 2
  • Winter Storm 2
  • Behind the Veil 2
  • Sidestep
  • Pitfight
  • Borrowed TIme
  • BBWD
  • Duel Cold Front
  • Agenda
  • Shadow Fiend
  • Nuclear Winter
  • Ysmir

Surprised Dual Cold Front made it in. Haven't played YSMIR yet so haven't voted.

Vote cast for BBSirocco. :P

I am pretty sure you don't want BBWF in the mappool.
BBWD on the other hand may be a contender for that spot.

Apocalypse Now

Surprisingly easy to get around on that map and different from so many but in a good way.

No Green Belt :(

Owell can't have it all.

By the way it's called Dual Cold Front, not Duel. Behind the Veil 2 and Winter Storm 2 have been renamed to Behind the Veil and Winter Storm in release.

I reuploaded BBWD as Siberian Summer and added a screenshot.
Added screenshots to the other maps too.

lol. i voted Almost Arid as from what i saw of the map: it has potential for competitive play, especially for heavy Macro play, and sure: we have a lot of Macro heavy maps, but more is always better. and ofc: if there is still a weird split that you're not happy about with the poll, just say 'fugg it, throw all four in' because then you have more choice for RAGL maps. (and hopefully more interesting replays)

Thanks to everyone who voted for Almost Arid (my map)! It was designed specifically as a competitive map. I've playtested it extensively in the past and it survived many iterations, so I'm confident in it.
