Ripley, Clemb, SoScared and the OpenRA team are proud to announce the next Tournament will be held:

August 1st - August 7th[/align]

Players may enter by placing a signup request in the comments below, which will then be entered into a pool to be drawn into their respective teams once entries have closed.

Teams will be balanced and posted online prior to the tournament starting.

Once the tournament has begun both teams will have 1 week (7 days) to collect as many points for their respective teams as possible
Tournament will start: Monday 1st August 2016 at 12:00pm UTC
Tournament will end: Sunday 7th August 2016 at 12:00pm UTC

there will be NO minimum amount of tournament games that must be played.
nor will there be a match size limit / minimum.

players in the match must both / all agree that the match is a tournament round BEFORE the game is launched.
there must be NO players from OUTSIDE of the tournament playing in the match.

Explored Map / Crates is optional. although it must be decided and agreed before the match starts.

Entry Terms & Conditions
1. The officials will have the FINAL say on all rounds they monitor.
2. Participants are free to pair off and battle as they choose, playing on any of the main mods (RA/TD/D2k).
3. Entries will close CLOSED
4. Standard starting rules: 5000 starting credits
5. Player/host game crash or connection loss will result in a REMATCH. If a missing player does not rejoin they will be forfeited.
6. Players MUST sign up themselves. No nominations "on behalf of".
7. All entries will be taken as agreement to these terms and any others that may be enforced by Event Staff for the benefit of this tournament.
8. No players may watch any live streams whilst they are ingame.
9. Maps are to be decided on by the participating players in the lobby.
10. All replays must be uploaded online . Label it as a tournament game with the match size included.
11. Players of the opposing teams will meet and play when available. Tournament officials MUST BE NOTIFIED of any tournament rounds BEFORE they commence.
12. The games are to be played using the current release 20160508

Blackened, all kinds of matches can and will be played during the BTT. You have the choice of playing any match-up you and your opponend(s) (and teammates) feel like playing.

Refusing to play too difficult opponent(s) is an option to defend points for your team. But we all wanna have a good time bashing skulls

Games gotta be recorded and archived though...
No shenanigans, just fair up kickin' your opponents arse!

Also doesn't the captain need to agree to matches? I remember the US timeslots had less matches not just because of a lack of players but the lack of captains being online to organise.

Perhaps have the captains rank their team to their judgement and allow people who are within X ransk of eachother to play without agreement from the captain?

I may join too. But can't say something exact yet. We'll go on a vacation on Augst but i dunno if first week or not.
