Calling all Tag team duo partners

It's time to showcase your winning team play style in our upcoming Tag Team Tourny
March 5th/6th & March 12th/13th

Teams will enter individual 1 v 1's and then pair up for a bitter team battle to the death.
1 v 1 rounds are each worth 1 Team point, 2 v 2 matches are worth 2 points. should this result in a tie after the third match, a SECOND 2 v 2 worth a further 2 points shall be held.

TD/RA/D2K

PRIZE MONEY INVOLVED!
The Comcast crew, in association with GameReplays have generously offered $200 for first and second place, to be split evenly between all team members at a ratio of:
1st: 80%
2nd:20%

Upon entries closing, teams will be randomly shuffled and added into tournament brackets.
Duo's must decide between themselves which partner will start the first 1 v 1.
A coin toss will be held between BOTH team captains of a match, where the winner shall chose the MOD, the loser will choose the MAP.
Teammates are NOT permitted to watch the match in-game for obvious reasons

Officials:
Ripley` / Ripsn
SoScared
FiveAces
Clemb

Technical Difficulty Official:

JaZz_KCS

Standard, released or 'shipped' maps only. Strictly NO CUSTOM MAPS
Standard starting rules MUST be used.
This varies for RA, D2k and TD, but the most important rules are 5000 starting credits, crates off, and MCV only start (RA - D2k) / MCV and light units (TD/C&C).
ALL players in the battle MUST be in the tournament (no public) and MUST be in their ASSIGNED teams.
Watching streams being cast is prohibited while ingame. VERY STRICTLY.

Teams can be organized HERE: http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/view ... 82&t=19415 (Thanks Kyrylo)

Results
The battle is not over / does not count UNTIL the game declares a winner.
All ingame tactics are valid.
If the game crashes or comes to a stop, please do not "call it a win" and report it.
All Replays MUST be uploaded and linked WITH the result of the match AND who played / what map. By your team captain.

2. The mods available to play are RA/TD/D2k
3. Entries will close *CLOSED*

7. All entries will be taken as agreement to these terms and any others that may be enforced by Event Staff for the benefit of this tournament.
8. No players may watch any live streams whilst they are ingame.
9. Maps and mods are to be decided by Team captains in the lobby, following a Coin Toss.
10. All replays must be uploaded online . Label it as a tournament game with the match size included.
11. Players of the opposing teams will meet and play when available. Tournament officials MUST BE NOTIFIED of any tournament rounds BEFORE they commence.
12. The games are to be played using the current release 20151224

Register your interest in the thread below. please ensure your application is posted using the format Team captain name - second member name - Team name

As always - Teams are expected to play fair and act sensibly, make themselves available for all tabled matches when appropriate and work towards this tournament running smoothly.Keeping the prize money in mind, stricter policies will be put in place, as this is the first tournament involving a cash prize. Officials reserve the right to remove teams if necessary. the aim of our tournaments, aside from community enjoyment, is to showcase the game through casted games to a wider audience, this means we need the best image of our community to be on show while games are streamed live.

A mumble server will be provided for all those who wish to participate in the VoIP aspect of our little shindig.
This, as well as our tournament match servers are hosted by our 64h affiliate and allround legend jaZz_KCS.

Thankyou pchote for the forum on which we stand. 8)

The [64H] Multiplayer Mumble voice server is up and running to be used by all ORA players at their leasure.

It will be running throughout the tournament as well providing cozy team channels in order for you teams to get 'ya game on.

It is encouraged to use voice communication in the tournament as teams with it will have an obvious advantage when it comes to swift communication over the teams that do not.

The address of the server is 64h.mine.nu
It can also be found in mumble server list under Europe --> Germany --> [64H] Multiplayer

This is going to happen. Aye!
Spread the word!

May have missed it, but how will be determined what Mod is played?

But it wasn't 100% clear to me if that was for all 3 games in a matchup or if there is a seperate coin toss for each 1v1 and the 2v2.

possibly 4 (3 x standard games + 1 x tie breaker -if necessary)

keeping this in mind.. captains will need to get their shit together fast, and be in and out with a call. First captain into the server gets to call the coin toss

Sounds like a nice torunament, though I am curious about what times the matches will take place. Any ideas? Or is it more open ended and spread out over the 2 days?

Times will be very strictly scheduled.
more info on these times will be available closer to the date.

teams will have the oppurtunity to change their match schedules if there is a decent reason.
