Format
Can we get a little more info on the format of this tournament? Are the games 1 v 1? if not, how are points calculated in FFA games or anything more than 1 v 1?
Why not just have a regular 1v1, 2v2 or 4v4 tourney? I haven't been involved in any discussion leading up to this, so I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I second this.Whoopz wrote: ↑Can we get a little more info on the format of this tournament? Are the games 1 v 1? if not, how are points calculated in FFA games or anything more than 1 v 1?

That is covered by rule #2. Basically, there are only two teams, and anything goes provided that both sides agree on the match rules before the game starts.
Regular tournaments have been tried in the past, but have broken down due to timezone conflicts or one of the finalists disappearing. This format ensures that the tournament progress won't grind to a halt just because one key player loses interest.

For a few different reasons, we need every different player to enter themselves.
"6. Players MUST sign up themselves. No nominations "on behalf of"."
I can add you Whoopz, but please ask your friends to create a forum account and register themselves.
This prevents bogus entries, and gives us a way of communicating with individual players through the forum messaging system.
sorry for any inconvenience, but this has been a solid rule throughout our tournaments.
