Entry and Rally on a map. What does it mean?

I can see on a map (in the "Map Editor") something like AtreidesEntry2, AtreidesRally2. Type: waypoint.

May I ask, what does it mean? And how it works?

They are waypoints used in the map script. You'll see the script using AtreidesEntry2.Location etc.

Would you like to explain, what is difference between Entry and Rally?
Are they independent actions?

Upd.
I found something else:
AtreidesWaypoint.

The names don't have any special meaning, they are just labels that make it easier to understand the map scripts.
