Playtest 20150329 and Windows 8.1

At first the map editor would crash when trying to switch mods, sorry i didn't record the error and will do next time.

I deleted all OpenRA folders and reinstalled, now the map editor won't launch at all. An hour glass shows up for a moment and nothing happens, no sign of the process either. I've tried reinstalling again, rebooting etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I'll try to add as much detail as I can here for troubleshooting. I really do apologize for not recording the original error.

Now it seems I can't get the application to launch at all. I'll try the system logs etc. and see what I can come up with.

You need the content assets so be sure to start/play the mod first and yes the editor is terrible. We are redoing it from scratch at the moment. https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/3377

It should have been obvious to me, you have to launch the mods and download the content! That's what it was complaining about when I tried to switch mods in the editor, it seems so obvious now that I see the error. I can now switch mods fine.
