OpenRA

Hi all,

This may be a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if it's at all possible to generate an OpenRA map from an image (e.g. jpg, png). Ideally, I would take a large Google Maps image and use that as a map.

I've looked into the existing map editing tools, but they just generate a large binary with the terrain/image information. I've heard that Stratagus used to have a tool that allows you to convert images into maps. Does anyone have any guidance regarding this area?

That won't work with the current cnc, ra and d2k mod tilesets.

At the moment it is as utopic as https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/2806 to wish.
