OpenRA

Hey I'm new around here but have played Dune 2000 and RA: Retaliation for the playstation when I was 4. I've always had always imagined how cool it would be to make my own maps and I'm surprised to see it's possible.

I found Cncnet and OpenRA, I like OpenRA for it's user friendly interfaces and how easy it is for me to mod it, for the most part at least. I use OpenRA for LAN and using the editor for RA is fine but, All the buildings and units seem to be missing from the Dune's editor.

Is it not yet implemented? Can I add them to the editor myself?

The map editor that ships with the current release doesn't share much code with the main game engine, and is sadly unmaintained/unmaintainable.

The editor pre-dates our Dune 2000 mod, and doesn't support the sprite artwork that it uses, and so it doesn't display any actors.

#3377 is tracking the progress of an integrated map editor that will eventually replace the current tool.
