Classic C&C Map Packs Converted for OpenRA

So i have spent some time converting maps from the original C&C and RA to OpenRA. So far i have converted maps from:
  • C&C
  • C&C Covert Ops
Partial Conversion:
  • Red Alert
  • Red Alert Retaliation
  • Red Alert Counterstrike
  • Conquer & Fight


UPDATE: I have added a new pack of maps for C&C from the unofficial Conquer & Fight addon (no don't ask what? where? why? because i don;t know either). Check it out in the attached 7z scroll down a little :) .

I did modify the player spawns on some maps slightly, so if there are any complaints, bugs, or reasons to adjust these just post below.

Nice! Thank you! I was thinking of doing this one day... (would have been necessary for the C&C Ckassic mod).

Do they all work?

I think some people would like to see a few of them adapted for multiplayer (maybe add a few spore flowers if needed, etc.)

They all work, if anything 1 or 2 may need some adjusting but I think they should be fine. I did modify a spawn point on one of the maps after I uploaded the pack so I will have to upload the modified version of that one.

I'm nostalgic all of a sudden for playing those old-school multiplayer maps. I would like to include some of them in OpenRA as multiplayer maps.
Is anyone else playing CNC these days?

I hope people are still playing CnC. I already made a Pull request to have them included in OpenRA.

They had been removed from OpenRA because the spawn points were not balanced at all. Still this will be a nice addition to often requested classic mod that strictly emulate the original like http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/view ... 83&t=16023

Yeah, the spawn points make no sense really especially on the original C&C maps. Although that doesn't mean we can't change the spawn points to make the maps balanced ;)
