I'm going to start working on roads, I'm thinking about using the Airfield's airstrip and halfing it wideways, would that work?

Okay, I made some roads. Do as you wish with them, but if you find a way to implement these bad-boys, please, PLEASE! Drop me a line :3. ( if it needs to be changed to a different picture file type, specify it too. I am rather ignorant on how to make .SHPs though :'c)

Heyho,

i tried to port them. seems to work. but i had to adjust the sizes. the smallest piece of terrain is 24x24 pixels. your road would fit best to 48x48 pixels (i cutted it a bit)

Really like it. Keep it up. When i got time, i'll upload the terrainfile.

Btw: we could use my pavement from the z-mod.

I experimented with something similar, although my roads didn't have the same quality, I could see that they didn't look nice.

The roads look to two dimensional and this conflicts with the buildings. Perhaps the horizontal roads should be made a bit thinner and appear elevated from the ground.

You strike a good point, but Red Alert I isn't quite as isometeric as it's retarded step-child Red Alert II. So I'm just gonna assume we're gonna need to do some experimentation at this point right now. :D !

Heyho.

Take everything you need.

Edit: I ported it.

Edit2: Could you try to make buildings connected to each other? So no single buildings but a compact wall of structures to form downtown-like districts. Thanks!

Simply a concept of how I imagine of what the 3 buildings I've made would look.

Yes. I can try that, let me make some storefronts.

Edit: I don't know what colors to quite use since I don't have a reliable tool with the RA I pallet :/
