I've just created scores.mix file with all the music themes from original RA scores.mix file and included redalert.mix/local.mix/intro.aud and map.aud files in it too. So, that's all the original music from RA is contained in new scores.mix file.

You may download scores.mix.tar.xz file, unpack it with 7-Zip and place it in your ~/.openra/Content/ra/ directory. Then, restart OpenRA and enjoy with a nice music!

Thy this one --> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_L9LQ ... G6IOFBU0uw

All that mix files I've got from EA's official CDs:
RA Soviet disc (500MB)
http://na.llnet.cnc3tv.ea.com/u/f/eagam ... etDisc.rar

RA Allied disc (500MB)
http://na.llnet.cnc3tv.ea.com/u/f/eagam ... edDisc.rar

I also added all additional music themes from other RA expansion packs like Counterstrike and The Aftermath. Enjoy!

There's also 2 C&C discs:
C&C GDI disc (581M)

C&C NOD disc (565M)

Hi

Quick question...how do you make the music work?

I've downloaded and unzipped the file looked in my Openra folder but there isn't a content/ra directory so I'm a bit stumped.

I've tried adding it directly to the main Openra directory and also creating content/ra and putting it there but it doesn't seem to be recognised.

Any pointers would be great!

Thanks. :)

Search for OpenRA folder inside "C:\Users" directory.

Usually it can be found as:

C:\Users\<you>\Documents\OpenRA\Content\ra

Wow, really speedy replies on this forum, thanks!

OK I've found the directory (I always forget to look in C:\)...

I've dropped it into the folder, loaded up the game, selected the music...and nothing happened. :(

Just Hell March showing.

I moved the scores.mix and renamed the unzipped files scores.mix and loaded up...and it said no music installed...huh.

Ummm...so I guess I'm still doing something wrong. :/

Yeah, you are definitelly doing smth wrong. It should just work.

You may download scores.mix.tar.xz file, unpack it with 7-Zip and place it in your /Content/ra/ directory. Then, restart OpenRA and enjoy with a nice music!

And I can also say that scores.mix.tar.xz isn't zip file. It's LZMA archive of tar archive or smth like that. You should unpack and get "scores.mix" file as a result.

Ah ha, I've got it.

I was right clicking and trying to just extract it when I should have been extracting it to a folder scores.mix, it's worked like a treat now!

Ahhhh the memories!!! :D

Thanks very much for the help! :)

I went to c:\Program Files\OpenRA\ but there wasn't any "content" folder. I have looked under "Users", "Documents", the d drive and everywhere else I was recomended, but i can't find it. What do I do?
