Allies Vs Soviets - Multiplayer

Hi, wondering what people's thoughts on this, as I am novice and started my first few games as Soviets and enjoyed there powerful tanks and Tesla, but I am being turned more for allies as you can pump out tanks a lot faster and do spam rushes with mechanics and medics making you virtually unstoppable on base rushes. I have come across some serious pro players who play allies and really do well, specially early game. The chronoshift also adds another dimension enabling ambush type moves.

Russia has 10% discount
Germany has 10% firepower

If there are any pro allied players what are your best tactics?

Thanks

Do we talk about OpenRA? There are no such bonuses for factions in OpenRA.

Just forget original RA , here many things are different.

If you want to see how good players play, check most recent games on these channels:

I don't think forgetting vanilla RA is a good idea. But it is true, the specifics differ quite a bit. RA in particular has had its balance polished over many years of competitions

So in OpenRA, are all factions completely balanced with no inherent bonuses, or do some still have unique strategic advantages based on unit composition or economy?
