OpenRA

Hi All,

I have been reading every where but nothing seems to work / make sense - especially the info on GitHub {I'm not very technical}. When I install Romanov's Revenge it tells me I need I need some artwork and music files from the original game, but I dont know where to get this.

Can anybody please help with this?

Have you got the original game installed on your computer?

I have the OpenRA version installed.
OpenRA - Red Alert.app

I also bought the original from EA games through Origin, but it seems that doesnt help at all because it's only available for windows.

Have you seen any invite for you to download the EA app for MAC users? I don't know how they send the invites whether it is done through emails or whatever method, so just check anyway. I have read through the web page about this here: https://www.ea.com/en-gb/ea-app

I will provide the link to the download of the origin MAC version that they put on that page below, have you tried this?

Hopefully you can install Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge with this method and then try the advanced install method.

Update (23/06/2024)

If you don't know the EA app is now ready to download for MAC users but only some of them are supported by the app (on their page it says "The EA app for Mac is available to players on macOS Catalina or newer."), you can at least try the new EA app and if it doesn't work for you then you will have to try sticking to origin.
