Cant launch the appimage

Im running linux mint on a x200 made the appimage executable, double clicked and
Red Alert has encountered a fatal error.
Please refer to the crash logs and FAQ for more information.
Log files are located in ~/.openra/Logs

We need the content of your exception (and potentially graphics) log to help. You can find them at the location specified.

i dont know what those things are,
i had trisquel linux 2 days ago and it worked just fine there
rn im trying to intall it trough snap but its not looking good

did the opengl graphics driver recquirment change recently?
i have 2.1 and doubt i can update to 3.1 given im on a thinkpadx200

Yes, the requirement increased. You can circumvent this by going to the "settings.yaml" file that is in your support directory (~/.openra/) and add "GLProfile: legacy" under "Graphics:".
