Are we rehashing this? I resubmit my vote for swapping the Hind out with the Iroquois that was already created as a replacement and making the Hind a non-buildable unit.

Other:

IMO, Air balance is certainly not broken, but can probably be improved.

As for the actual unit appearance and name, I don't mind what its called so long as its clear by its name that there are two different units, and so long as that it is visually clear that it is one unit and not the other.

...balance, a little salt and pepper, call it done.

Lets make it funnyer and more complicated

Soviet :

Airport : Only mig
helipad : chinook (but we will name it matroska for aesthetic purpose), hind (the great !)

Allies :

Airport : The spitfire (lets transfert the yak and name it spitfire because whynot), smitty's sniper drop
helipad : chinook and longbow !

Hello? why cant i vote for "no change all is fine" here?

I voted "other" but that doesnt really fit.

Why no change?

There is no working solution for the known issues.
i'd say 1st make the modmaps then start the poll.

This way i need too much imagination on what could work.

Btw Huey, Cobra or blackhawk shps can be found in this map.

All these useless words and threads about something that never has been tested in any way is going on my nuts hehe thats why i made a first step here by uploading a map wich fits for answer 2

Russia instead of being able to produce shoktrooper and teslatanks now can build a helipad and the hind.

Allies have the AH1-Cobra with same attributes like the hind.

I don't think that russia will be op or something they have no more factionspecific techunits anymore.

Haha yes there are some very strong opinions on all sides but you are so right.. no testing has been done. I agree that we should all help out and do some testing with an open mind and see what happens! Thanks for providing a test map :-)

Comes with the Ah1-Cobra scaled down by 90% because it was designated by Gabesz as i found out that also makes it easier to differentiate it from the hind.
