Hi,
I just want to say hello . I am Olli from Germany.
I Play C&C Games since the really first one. But my favorite ones Tiberian Dawn , Red Alert and Tiberian Sun and also Generals. The other ones are not my favorites. So I discover openRA since one and a half / two years ago. And I never played it online but watch every uploaded video from FiceAces , Doomy and SoScared on youtube. Now I am on the road for working, saw that I can play it now on my Macbook, this is the key point for me to say hallo to the community and ask how to play with you guys online ?
At the moment I have the playtest version. Would be nice if someone can tell me how I can play with you guys and how I can enter the ... I think starter`s is minions league ?

Glad to have new faces. Unfortunately for you the RAGL registration is closed until next season as the season has already begun

All the players are on the release version. Most of the players are friendly to new players I mean pm me any question you want about playing the game as many people know I love to coach

Look around for the 1v1 lobbies. I recommend not to touch team games as they teach bad habits. Any 1v1 skill easily correlates to team game as its you as a player getting better not at a certain game type.

I will massage you. No Problem with the running league. I have time to wait. On the winter month`s I have more free time because my work season is over than. I have to look at the short cut`s and key commands of openRA and than I have to train it =) . I Play just for fun and love to see the replays of other players =)

Is it possible to play 1:1 with other Players that are not so skilled like the big guys ? But I have no idea how to video tape it.

After that you should read up on this guide I made with input from other peoples (yes orb im crediting you). It's no where near done but I have no time with school but it has enough information to get you to a good skill level

You should play anyone and especially the big guys. Being twatted hard is always a good thing because your mistakes are then so easily identifiable

Install the release version, available from openra.net
Click multiplayer and select and an open server. There you can choose you map. Maps are designated to 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3, etc

You can watch replays automatically as theyre recorded on your hard drive already. Click 'extras' from main menu and click 'replays'.

You can join the openra discord for help and chat via voice also. There's a thread on that.

This is probably your best bet, currently, for Red Alert games. The playtest version is testing for the next release. Most Tiberium Dawn games are done on the playtest version during the afternoon and night times for where you live and most Red Alert games are done on the release version with players online most of the time.

nice to meet all of you guys. Saw lots of replays. Than I will install the release version and than i like to join the games if I am home or next week after work in the Hotel.
