Feel free to click the above link to join the public OpenRA community on discord.

Discord is a voice and text based social platform. Basically it's a chatroom merged into a Skype-like program. You don't need to download any program for being able to use Discord but if you end up liking discord, I suggest to download the client. It is superior to browser-based client in many ways. Discord is also available on mobile.

On our server we have fairly active discussion about strategies, game balance, suggestions, modding amongst other things. We have many players using voice communication to chat on a daily basis.

We also have stream and youtube news channels which makes Discord a great tool for keeping up with the most recent OpenRA content on twitch and youtube.

Please note that the Discord channel is community managed, and is not moderated or monitored by OpenRA developers.

The invite-link needs to be refreshed regularly.

Does anyone know about an i386 architecture version for the Linux Discord Desktop Client (v0.0.1).
The official DL seems to be only amd64 and using the web-page based "solution" is really a pain...

I've set this link to never expire.

Bumping this. Open Red Alert public discord is nice for keeping up with latest Youtube/Twitch news and spamming "looking for games" in matchmaking chat.

At Friday 24h (CEST) the server will begin using "low" level verification. This requires that you have a verified email associated with your discord account. You can find instructions on how to resend a verification email here: https://goo.gl/mswBcz
