+ Mortar would function like an mini-arty, making it worthwhile against clusters of infantry and buildings when in large groups.
+ It could function better for early game harass purposes as its speedy unlike other artillery pieces
+ Is the earliest available artillery piece in tech-trees.
+ Could gain the lost double shot mechanism that got removed from Artillery, with exp level increasing chance of occurence..
+ The new weapon gives us reason to upgrade its sight-range.
- No Aa capability.
- Should explode on death or not ?
- The weapon is even more situational use than globally useless mini-Flak.
- Prolly needs a price increase then.

But better yet howabout soviets can build a giant joseph stalin that stamps on inf. This is just as good as blob crowd control and we can make him shoot lazers out his eyes to target Air units. If we want to go further he can get a hammer and sickle to fling tanks and veichles around which can crash into builds and do damage

For some it's annoying, and for others, its harmless. But what is for certain is that these threads have no impact by themselves; it'd be a better idea to compile all of these ideas into one thread so that they have more swaying power.
