I make comics using the sprites from TD.

How do make the units in the asset browser colored just like the Nod in the newest release?

I think they are colorless in the asset browser, so they will be colored based on the map rules/ player colors in game.

So I don't know if there is an easy way to color them in the asset browser. You could probably use the custom rules from the nod campaign missions, and use them for maps, and then get your screenshots in game, but that would be a tedious work around.

Probably easier just to use photoshop.

You can select the "colorpicker" palette in the assets browser and then change the color with the colorpicker next to the palette selection dropdown.

You could also extract the SHP files and view them on the OS SHP editor.

You can't do this in the newest release, as the colorpicker removes most of the black and gray colors.

Anyway, I found an alternate solutiion that contines to make it easy for me.

I reloaded the last release, (painstakingly) picked the gray/hint of blue color of Nod, and closed the game. I then went to sttings.yaml in My Documents and copied the color numbers in a separate location.

I then reload the current version and plug it into the settings whenever I want the Nod colors. As long as I don't click on changing the colorpicker, it doesn't change.

This method has the added benefit that I can instantly reload the exact color I used later, if I decide to play a match with actual colors, since I could simply mess with the yaml settings again.

Probably not the exact color, but 123,35,211 is really damn close.
